life with lydia

so things are still going great. i doubt anybody is even reading this but that is just fine, all is still going great over that last few days lydia has gotten more normal and everything is going wonderful we are still trying to figure out what to accomplish over the next little while with our lives but i am sure that we will settle on something and hit it with full force.we love you all and hope that everything is going great.

we have had a girl

So yesterday Lydia pasted her four week mark and she is getting bigger and bigger everyday, all is well with Spencer and I and life is busy. sorry it has been so long since the last time we posted anything but i will be trying to do better now that Lydia is here and we actually have something to say. Love you all.

GRADUATION!!!!

I am now t-minus 7 days and counting from my college graduation!! Is it bad that I have the song "Pomp and Circumstance" stuck in my head? I must admit that I am having a hard time doing school work but I am trying to finish as strong as I can given the circumstances.

I have a job....which is a really good thing. I am moving to Orem, Utah to work for Fidelity Investments in American Fork. It is an AWESOME company with AWESOME benefits and should be at least a good stepping stone to something really great in the finance industry.

I MADE IT!!!! I guess people really do graduate from BYU-Idaho-I never thought it was possible. Another thing that makes me an anomally it that I am graduating from here SINGLE!!! I guess that is not something to be really proud about but I feel that the opportunity never really presented itself while I was here. I felt really bad about it at times but I really feel that the Lord is preparing me for that most wonderful time in my life-I just gotta wait for it. Now that I am done with school, I think I feel more empowered to go after an enternal companion.

Hello, again

Ok so I think I might just be getting the hang of this "blog" thing but who knows I might mess it up like i am usually prone to do.

So I am in the middle of my internship at Northwestern Mutual...I must say that it is a major trial that I wish I could be doing a better job of surviving. I knew going into it that it would be all sales and my compensation would be pretty much all commission-based but nobody could have prepared me for how hard it really is. For those of you who do not know, I am a finance major at BYU-Idaho and will be graduating in December. I really thought that this type of financial planning services was where I was supposed to be but for now I am questioning that notion...

Well, just wanted to say that. I hope this works.... Feel free to stop by and write awhile sometime and I'll see if I can actually figure out what a blog is supposed to be....
